Sarah Griffith joins the Red Stars from Purdue University. The Naperville, Ill native was the 35th overall pick in the 2022 NWSL Draft. Griffith holds multiple records for the Boilermakers including most goals in a season, most consecutive games with a goal, with eight goals in a seven-game stretch, shots in a season and shots on goal. Griffith also is tied for most game-winning goals in a season and career overtime points.
