47’ Houston’s Ebony Salmon sends a dangerous cross into Chicago’s penalty area, but goalkeeper, Emily Boyd makes a diving save to stop the attack

57’ Great hustle from Chicago’s Ava Cook keeps a ball in play and finds Ella Stevens whose nifty footwork gets her around a defender and gets the ball to a crossing Sarah Griffith, but Griffith is unable to convert

67’ The Red Stars win a corner kick attempt, which is taken by Julia Bianchi, whose ball into the box finds Kayla Sharples, but her header attempt goes just over the cross bar
