We had to be clever about this weeks save of the week nominee. The dynamic midfield duo of Vanessa DiBernardo and Danielle Colaprico came up with a save no one saw coming; DiBernardo is a whopping 5’4 and Colaprico slides in an inch lower at 5’3, not your average save of the week nominees.

In the 15th minute against Boston, the Breakers took a corner kick that received a shot on frame that DiBernardo headed out. The ball landed directly onto another Breakers head that forced Colaprico to come up with the “ninja” save. These two provided the Chicago Red Stars to earn their third straight clean sheet, but now it is your turn to vote for it as NWSL Save of the Week.
