The Chicago Red Stars will host their inaugural #SheInspiresMe Game on Saturday, July 14 when they face Seattle Reign FC, and in conjunction, the Red Stars will introduce the annual #SheInspiresMe Award, which will be presented to a woman who exemplifies leadership, social responsibility and inspires those around them during their everyday life.

The Red Stars will begin accepting nominations for the award between Monday, June 25 – July 12. Nominations can be submitted online here or in person by visiting the Sales Table at the next Red Stars home game this Sunday, July 1. The winner of the award will receive complimentary tickets and be honored on the field at halftime of the #SheInspiresMe game.

To kick off #SheInspiresMe night, fans are invited to participate in a yoga class on the field, presented by Next Yoga. Following the class, the inaugural Women’s Expo will take place in the Stadium Club with displays from organizations including Victory Band by Independently Driven, Sweet Ali’s Bakery, Confidence by Model Atelier, NEXT Yoga, Connections for Abused Women and Children, Hellowater, The Chicago Bandits, Pearl Bougie, Arbonne International and more. As part of the Women’s Expo, a Confidence Chat for young women will be hosted by Model Atelier CEO Robin Harris at 6 p.m. CT.
