Red Stars Partner with The Name Engine

The Chicago Red Stars have partnered with name pronunciation provider, The Name Engine, for the remainder of the 2013 season. The Name Engine is a resource dedicated to providing the correct name pronunciations of athletes, entertainers, politicians, newsmakers, and more. Until now, no standard has existed to confirm this information.

While The Name Engine official website at thenameengine.com has a search feature allowing you to look up a variety of names from the above-mentioned categories, the Red Stars will specifically utilize their services to provide pronunciation audio for each player on the Red Stars roster. Simply visit the Red Stars roster and look for the little ‘ear’ symbol next to each player’s name to listen to the audio file and finally learn how to pronounce each Red Stars name!
