Chicago, IL – The Chicago Red Stars today announced a season-long partnership with Chicago-based sport beverage Hydrade. The agreement names Hydrade as an “Official Partner” of the Chicago Red Stars and the “Official Sports Drink of Supernova,” the Red Stars new mascot.

Hydrade (http://drinkhydrade.com) offers athletes a ready-to-drink beverage that maximizes cellular hydration and helps maintain optimal hydration levels pre-, and post- workout. The sports beverage has half the sodium and double the potassium of other sports drinks. Hydrade also provides additional vitamin C and glycerol for maximum hydration.

As an “Official Partner” of the Red Stars, Hydrade will be providing product to campers at all Red Stars Academy camps and clinics and will provide support to the Red Stars during their 2014 campaign. In exchange, the Red Stars have also named Hydrade the “Official Sports Drink of Supernova,” and will work hand-in-hand with the Red Stars new mascot within the community. Hydrade will also receive various marketing and branding assets throughout the Red Stars 2014 season, including gameday activations and online media.
