CHICAGO – Just before the holidays, the Chicago Red Stars, in collaboration with Red Stars defender Sarah Gorden, will hold its first toy drive during the month of December and gift them to the St. Vincent de Paul Center for underprivileged children.
“I am beyond excited to be working the with team to put together a toy drive for children that are underprivileged right in our own community,” said Gorden. “This Center has a ton of meaning to me and is somewhere I have personal history with, so to have this opportunity to provide presents for these families means more than anything to me.”
Starting Dec. 4, new and unwrapped toys may be dropped off or mailed (via Amazon) to the Red Stars office on weekdays between 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CT. Toys should range for children between ages 2 and 7. For fans located in the Chicagoland suburbs, they may drop off toys at Seat Geek Stadium in the Red Stars Toy Drive box beginning December 7.

Wednesday, Dec. 12, 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
