Press & Short contribute to win over Switzerland 

CHICAGO – In the final October match for the U.S. Women’s National Team, Christen Press and Casey Short helped solidify the 5-1 win over Switzerland at U.S. Back Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Sunday.

Once again showing her ability to create problems for opposing team’s defenses, Press came away with a goal and an assist in her second consecutive game. The Red Stars captain has posted eight goals in 23 games with the USA in 2016.

First-time call-up Casey Short played her second straight 90 minutes for the U.S., earning her second international cap.

The U.S. WNT will conclude 2016 next month with a pair of matches against Romania in California. Full schedule and tickets for the U.S. matches can be found here.
