CHICAGO – With just seven days remaining until the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) commences the 2019 College Draft, all eyes are on the hosts Chicago Red Stars as they hold this year’s number one overall pick.

Chicago currently holds seven picks in the 2019 NWSL College Draft (1, 6, 7, 15, 24, 26, 33). The Red Stars historically have found success in past drafts, selecting U.S. National Team members Julie Ertz and Danielle Colaprico in 2014 and 2015, respectively and other key players such as Arin Gilliland, Katie Naughton, Vanessa DiBernardo and more.

The 2019 NWSL College Draft is set to begin at 11 am C.T. on Thursday, Jan. 10. The latest order for the draft can be found here.
