Mautz on Loan to Perth Glory Women

The midfielder looks to gain more international experience

CHICAGO – Alyssa Mautz, 27, will join Perth Glory Women on loan in the Australian W-League season during the offseason for the Chicago Red Stars.

The longest tenured player for Chicago, Mautz has appeared in 72 matches for the Red Stars and tallied 9 goals and 5 assists as an outside midfielder. With plenty of experience in the United States after playing in three leagues throughout her professional career, the only thing Mautz is missing is more international experience, so Perth Glory will provide her with just that.

“I’ve been looking to increase my experience internationally,” Mautz said. “Perth Glory is a great fit to achieve that. I’m excited to play a part in the upcoming W-League season and I’m really looking forward to it.”

Mautz will return to the Chicago Red Stars prior to the start of the 2017 NWSL season.
