CHICAGO — The Chicago Red Stars begin their final month of the regular against the Houston Dash on Sunday, September 8. Kickoff from SeatGeek Stadium is scheduled for 5 pm CT on NBC Sports Chicago. Here is the starting lineup, presented by Magellan:

- Goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher is starting in her tenth match this season. The number one goalkeeper has earned three clean sheets in 2019 and made a season-high six saves in her previous game.
- Sarah Gorden will make her 19th start this season for Chicago. She’s managed to earn a staggering 80% tackle success rate in 2019, along with 50 clearances and 28 interceptions.
- Julie Ertz will captain the squad once again. She will slide back into the defense in her 89th NWSL game.
- Defender Casey Short has put together one of the best seasons ever for an NWSL defender in 2019. With a goal and two assists the defender has been getting forward and a threat to the opposing teams’ backline.
- Tierna Davidson will make her ninth start of the 2019 season. She has an impressive 36 clearances while maintaining an 84% tackle success rate.
- Danielle Colaprico makes her 102nd career appearance for Chicago. The versatile midfielder has a 73% pass success rate this season.
- Morgan Brian will be earning her 53rd career NWSL appearance. Her vision has been key this season for Chicago as she has managed an 80% success rate which has her in the top-three in the league and she leads the Red Stars with an average of 60 passes per game.
- Midfielder Vanessa DiBernardo will play her 20th game of the NWSL season. A leader on the field, DiBernardo has provided 25 key passes on the attack for Chicago, along with finishing two goals for herself.
- Yuki Nagasato has been pure fire in 2019 as the Japanese international has scored five goals and added five assists. She is the only Red Star to start all 20 games this season
- Savannah McCaskill will make her 18th appearance this season in her ninth start. She was acquired by Chicago via trade back in June.
- Sam Kerr’s 13 goals in 16 games lead the way in the NWSL Golden Boot Race. Kerr is also productive defensively, boasting a 100% tackle success rate.
