CHICAGO — This year the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) joined forces with Yahoo Sports, allowing fans to watch every NWSL game on the Yahoo Sports app and online. Ahead of the Chicago Red Stars season opener against the North Carolina Courage, here’s where you can catch the action:
Where else can I get the Yahoo Sports app?
The app is also available on Apple TV (gen 4+) and Roku (gen 3+).
Where can I get the NWSL’s official league app?
You can download it on iTunes and on Google Play.
Where is the NWSL’s app not available?
Unfortunately, it is not currently available on any TV-connected device platforms, such as Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast or Fire TV.
Will I be able to watch live NWSL games outside of the United States?
Yes. Every game will be available live on NWSLsoccer.com and on the NWSL app with no sign-in required. Links will be available on NWSLsoccer.com/schedule and on the Games section of the NWSL App shortly before kickoff.
Will I be able to watch NWSL games after they air?
Yes. Shortly after the games end, they will be available on demand at Yahoo’s NWSL page and on the Yahoo Sports app (see above). After 48 hours have passed since a match’s conclusion, it will be available on demand at NWSLsoccer.com/schedule and on the NWSL app with no sign-in required.
Will I be able to watch NWSL games after they air outside of the United States?
Yes. All games will be available to watch on demand on NWSLsoccer.com/schedule and on the NWSL app with no sign-in required.
