CHICAGO  – The Chicago Red Stars today announced the promotional schedule for their 2014 season. The lineup of theme nights adds to the remainder of the Red Stars exciting home schedule at the Village of Lisle – Benedictine University Sports Complex in Lisle, Illinois.

Some highlights from the full promotional schedule include: Mother’s Day presented by Radio Disney on May 11, when all moms get in free with the purchase of a regular admission ticket. The Radio Disney Road Crew will also be on hand that evening providing music, entertainment and family fun.

Pride Night hits Chicago on June 4, when the Red Stars take on Ali Krieger and the Washington Spirit. The team will celebrate diversity and equality with special pre- and post-game activities. The team has also partnered with Chicago-based national nonprofit Hope for the Day (http://www.hftd.org/). Any fan who purchases a club level ticket to the June 4th match using promo code ‘HOPE’, will be donating a portion of their ticket to suicide prevention, education and awareness. A new addition for the Red Stars this year is Mascot Night on July 12, which will feature the Red Stars very own mascot Supernova, and a Chicago-area mascot halftime game. Fans will get a chance to mix and mingle with their favorite fuzzy friends, and see what kind of soccer skills they really have.

On Saturday, July 26, the Red Stars bring back Faith & Family Night, where players from the Red Stars and Houston Dash, including former Red Stars player Ella Masar will host a post-game family talk about faith. Former professional soccer player Dasan Robinson, of the Chicago Fire and LA Galaxy, will also be participating in the talk and post-game autographs that evening.
