CHICAGO – After two preseason matches against Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin, Chicago Red Stars head coach Rory Dames has whittled down his roster ahead of the Thorns Spring Invitational preseason tournament, waiving University of Michigan alum Corinne Harris.

The roster will see some fresh faces next week as Julie Ertz, Sofia Huerta, Alyssa Naeher and Casey Short return from U.S. national team duty at the SheBelieves Cup, while Sam Kerr will join the team after competing with Australia in the Algarve Cup in Portugal.

The remaining players will look to compete for their final roster spot during their first major tournament of the year, playing NWSL teams Portland Thorns (March 11), Houston Dash (March 14) and the U.S. U-23 Women’s National Team (March 17).
