Chicago Red Stars Players Return from International Duty

CHICAGO – Chicago Red Stars players Morgan Brian, Julie Ertz, Sam Kerr, Alyssa Naeher and Casey Short have returned to Chicago this week after playing with their national teams in the Tournament of Nations. With their return, national team replacement players Megan Buckingham, Joanna Boyles, Zoey Goralski, Ryann Torrero and Erin Yenney have been taken off the active roster.

The U.S. Women’s National Team claimed their first Tournament of Nations title in front of the Toyota Park home crowd after routing Brazil 4-1 in the final match.

The Red Stars return to Toyota Park this Friday, August 10 at 6:30 p.m. CT to take on North Carolina Courage. Tickets to the match can be purchased here.
