Chicago Offers New Contracts or Exercises Options for All 23 Players

CHICAGO – After the completion of the 2020 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) end of year process, the Chicago Red Stars have announced contract statuses for all of its players.

All of Chicago’s 23 rostered players have either had their option exercised or have been offered a new contract by the team.

U.S. Women’s National Team members Tierna Davidson, Julie Ertz, Alyssa Naeher, Morgan Gautrat, and Casey Short remain on the Red Stars as allocated Federation players, while the Federation status for 2021 will be announced at a later date.

· Boyd, Emily: Extended new contract offer

· Colaprico, Danielle: Extended new contract offer

· Davidson, Tierna: Federation Player (USA)

· Davison, Hannah: Extended new contract offer

· DiBernardo, Vanessa: Extended new contract offer

· Doniak, Makenzy: Option exercised

· Ertz, Julie: Federation Player (USA)

· Gautrat, Morgan: Federation Player (USA)

· Goralski, Zoey: Extended new contract offer

· Gorden, Sarah: Extended new contract offer

· Hill, Rachel: Extended new contract offer

· Johnson, Kaitlyn: Extended new contract offer

· Luebbert, Sarah: Under contract for 2021 season

· Morse, Zoe: Under contract for 2021 season

· Naeher, Alyssa: Federation Player (USA)

· Mautz, Alyssa: Extended new contract offer

· Miller, Cassie: Option exercised

· Sharples, Kayla: Extended new contract offer

· Short, Casey: Federation Player (USA)

· Stevens, Ella: Under contract for 2021 season
