Alyssa Mautz Out Indefinitely with Knee Injury

Chicago – Chicago Red Stars midfielder Alyssa Mautz has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2019 National Women’s Soccer League season after suffering a tear to her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her right knee during Tuesday’s training session.

The longest tenured played in Chicago Red Stars history, the midfielder has played in 124 matches for the club in the NWSL era. Prior to joining the Red Stars for NWSL, Mautz was part of the Red Stars in the Women’s Premier Soccer League Elite (WPSL-Elite).
