Chicago Red Stars Shutout by North Carolina Courage, 0-5

The Chicago Red Stars go scoreless against the North Carolina Courage in a 0-5 loss. The Red Stars take the field again Wednesday, June 14, when the team travels to Kansas City to take on the Current in a mid-week UKG Challenge Cup matchup.

11’ North Carolina’s Kerolin sends in a cross from the left that Alyssa Naeher can’t get in front of, putting the Courage on the board early, 0- 1 North Carolina 

 

29’ Casey Krueger puts on the speed to come from behind and shut down a dangerous Courage breakaway run
