Chicago Red Stars Sign Goalkeeper, Kelsey Dossey

The Chicago Red Stars have signed goalkeeper, Kelsey Dossey, to a replacement player contract. Dossey will step in for goalkeeper and national team replacement player, Mackenzie Wood, who sustained an injury in training this week.

Dossey, from Plainfield, Indiana, played college soccer at the University of Missouri where she ended her career as one of the most decorated goalkeepers in program history. Dossey had 203 saves at Mizzou, 11 career shutouts (fourth most in Mizzou soccer history) and 24 victories (fourth most in program history).

Dossey previously joined the Red Stars as a non-roster invitee during the 2022 preseason and was later signed to a replacement contract during the 2022 regular season following an injury to goalkeeper, Emily Boyd.
