First Recorded Women's Soccer Game
The first recorded soccer match involving women was played in Carstairs, Scotland, causing a stir with local ministry. The 390th anniversary of this event was celebrated in 2018 with a visit from Rose Reilly, World Cup winner and one of Scotland’s most successful female footballers.
