SERIES HISTORY: The match between Chicago and Seattle Reign FC marks the second time the two teams meet this season, with the Red Stars taking the win in the first matchup, 1-0. Christen Press notched the only goal of the game off an assist from Sofia Huerta, while Alyssa Naeher earned the shutout. Despite a record of 5-3-4 against Seattle, Chicago holds the advantage as of late, with the last defeat by the Reign dating back to the 2014 season.

SCOUTING SEATTLE: Seattle enters the match winning just one game out of their last five matches (1-1-3). However, the Reign are leading the NWSL on the offensive side, as the club has converted 20 goals in 10 matches. Led by Megan Rapinoe, who currently is tied for first in the NWSL in goals (5), the Reign have seen a surge in production from Nahomi Kawasumi, who leads the league in assists (6). Haley Kopmeyer, current leader in the NWSL in saves (47), will be without star defensive player Lauren Barnes, who received a red card just four minutes into the clubs last match. The Reign have yet to lose at home, holding a 2-0-3 record at Memorial Stadium.

RED STARS MILESTONES: Alyssa Mautz currently sits at 95 overall appearances for the Red Stars.

LEADING THE NWSL: Red Stars midfielder Vanessa DiBernardo is tied for the lead in assists (16) for all active players in NWSL. The previous two seasons, DiBernardo has finished second overall in the league in assists.

NO PLACE LIKE HOME: Chicago moved to Toyota Park full-time for the 2016 NWSL season and quickly adapted to the pitch. Since moving to Toyota Park, the Red Stars have played 17 matches at home, but have lost just one, a 2-3 loss to FC Kansas City on September 7, 2016.

NEXT MATCH: Follow the Red Stars on their four-game road trip in Orlando as they take on the Pride on Saturday, July 1. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. CT at Orlando City Stadium.
