Maria Sanchez to Pursue Playing Opportunity in Mexico

CHICAGO– Maria Sanchez has informed the Chicago Red Stars she will not return to the team for the 2020 National Women’s Soccer League Season in order to pursue a playing career in Mexico.

Sanchez, 23, was selected by Chicago in the second round of the 2019 NWSL College Draft. She made seven appearances for Chicago.
