CHICAGO – The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) is teaming up with Nike and Chicago Red Stars of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) to recognize the top female athletes and Amazing Young Women that compete at the highest caliber among the world. The ECNL partnership extension with Chicago Red Stars is taking place when the Chicago Red Stars take on Sky Blue FC, and coincides with the ECNL’s top competition, the ECNL National Playoffs, the largest ECNL event of the season with the top 224 teams, and featuring some of the most intense rivalries in the country.
The ECNL’s Amazing Young Women movement honors leading female athletes for what they represent to the next generation. Through the program, the ECNL shares stories of amazing young women that exemplify what it means to be #UNSHAKABLE, and is calling on all women to join the movement to celebrate the power of what is to be a girl today. The Amazing Young Women movement showcases and celebrates female role models offering an aspirational focus for all female athletes and teens as they prepare to be our next generation of leaders.
As an extension of the ECNL’s Amazing Young Women movement, the Chicago Red Stars is offering all ECNL Playoff teams an exclusive ticket offer to attend the Chicago Red Stars vs. Sky Blue FC match on Sunday, June 25th at 5:00PM CT at Toyota Park for an Amazing Young Women night.
