Chicago – Australia enters the World Cup tournament as one of the best countries in the world and looks to earn their first World Cup win this year. A strong and veteran roster will lead the Westfield Matildas in France, including captain Sam Kerr.
The roster for the Matildas was very much a young squad in 2015. The 2015 team made history as they advanced from group play and won their first knockout match. Now, a very similar roster returns for the 2019 tournament.
Led by Red Stars player Sam Kerr, the Australian side will look to Carpenter, Raso, Foord and van Egmond to push to the finals
Goalkeepers: Mackenzie Arnold, Teagan Michah, Lydia Williams

Forwards: Lisa De. Vanna, Caitlin Foord, Mary Fowler, Emily Gielnik, Sam Kerr, Hayley Raso
