U.S. WNT open group play against Thailand
CHICAGO – The United States Women’s National Team begin their World Cup campaign against Thailand on Tuesday, June 11 (2 p.m. CT; FOX). The Chicago Red Stars are represented well in the 23-player roster with goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher, defender Tierna Davidson, and midfielders Julie Ertz and Morgan Brian. The Americans, on the other hand, are expected to challenge again for the title and will be eager to start on the right foot in their opening match.
