CHICAGO – The Mexican Football Association announced their 24-player roster for two friendlies in July, with Chicago Red Stars midfielder Maria Sanchez selected to the squad. 

La Tri will play games against club side Pachuca and a team to be determined on July 19 and 22 respectively. The friendlies are in preparation for Mexico’s participation in this month’s Pan-American Games, kicking off on July 26 in Lima, Peru. 

Sanchez has been a part of the Mexican National Team since 2015, making her international debut at the World Cup. She has 13 career caps and 3 goals at the international level.
